We are the newly formed Committee for Adolescent Girls within Division 35 of the American Psychological Association. Our goal is to develop and share information and resources for teenage girls and those who work with and/or parent them. One of our first initiatives is to create a quarterly newsletter developed by a team of psychology faculty, PhD students, post-docs, parents, and advocates for girls both nationally and internationally.

We hope you enjoy our Back to School Fall edition (attached) which contains perspectives from girls from the US and Guatemala about going back to school post-Covid, recommendations of what the editorial team is reading and watching related to adolescent girls, and a resource corner highlighting menstrual cups.

Any feedback/ideas? Have you recently published an article you want us to highlight? Would you be interested in being interviewed or contributing content to a future newsletter? Want to join our e-mail listserv? Please reach out to us at .

We are a new committee and are working hard to build followers, so we would greatly appreciate it if you could follow/like/share our posts on our InstagramTwitter, and Facebook pages. Please feel free to share this widely. Thank you in advance for your support as we work to support teen girls!
