    Hi all,

Candice posted about a great resource for recruiting families for online studies.  Researchers with IRB permissions to recruit and test online should check out her links to post your own studies, as well as for parents to check out what studies are currently available so you can reach out to researchers.  Many labs will have IRB restrictions regarding how they are able to "recruit" families during this time, so this is a great participant-driven initiative.

There is another resource available to labs and parents during this time as well.  This resource has compiled a list of interested parents who have provided their contact information, so that labs can reach out directly to them. (Note the difference -- Candice's great list puts parents in the driver's seat; the alternate list below allows labs to reach out to the parents directly.)  Labs and parents are of course welcome to participate in both lists -- they simply reflect different approaches (parents reach out to labs vs labs reach out to parents) to connecting researchers and participants.

If you would like to be able to _access_ a list of parents who have requested to be contacted, you can sign-up as a RESEARCHER to get access and learn more by filling out this other form: Researcher sign-up to access database  I will be following new requests and sending out information to new sign-ups every few days.

If you would like to be able to be contacted about opportunities to _have your child participate_ (any age welcome), please feel free to fill out this PARTICIPANT form to be contacted for upcoming opportunities: Online Developmental Experiments Participation Questionnaire  The form simply indicates whether you would be interested in being contacted by labs with information about enrollment in online studies. If you have multiple children, please fill out this form anew for each child. By completing this form, you acknowledge that developmental research labs may have access to the information you provide and may use it to contact you over email.

Wishing everyone good health and great science,
    Elizabeth

I love this approach, too. I think it's great to have multiple options to recruit families during this time.
